The R & A Turning Division is capable of producing high quality components, with extremely tight tolerances, for a diverse range of applications and industries. Our investments in sliding head and multi-axis lathes has greatly advanced our capacity and milling capability, with up to 12k rpm driven tooling and lights out machining, making us more efficient for big batch production runs, passing on the cost savings to our customers. Our extensive machining capability is complimented by Esprit CAM programming expertise, which enables us to produce highly complex components, complete on one machine.
Our Turning Division also includes CNC lathes fitted with up to 3” automatic bar fed capacity, and up to 10” chucking. We offer the manufacture of precision turned components in a wide range of materials from aluminium, mild steels, stainless steels and Inconel, to all grades of plastics.
